Enable or disable macros in Microsoft Excel 2007

. Macros are the set of instruction which does the repeated task perform by the user. User can define its macro or record the macros and run it. But sometimes you may find in that macros are disabled in Microsoft excel 2007.

Here are the steps to enable or disable macros in Microsoft excel 2007 :

1. ) Select the Microsoft office logo appear at the left most top of the excel file. As indicated. At the bottom, select Excel options.

2.) A window excel option will open, select the Trust center button. And select the Trust center settings, that appear at the right bottom of excel options window.

3.) Click on macro setting, and then select the appropriate options from the radio button with the following options :

  • Disable all macros without notification.
  • Disable all macros with notification.
  • Disable all macros except digitally signed macros.
  • Enable all macros.

4.) Press ok. You can now enable or disable macro settings in the excel file. Here is an example which uses macros to remove hyperlink in excel 2007.

5.) If When the notification appears, click the Options button. Choose Enable this content from the options that appear to allow macros to run within the current spreadsheet. Click OK to close the window.
